Photojournalist Ed Kashi: Speaker in Palo Alto

I went to see Photojournalist Ed Kashi and Michael Watts, Chair of the UC Berkeley Geography Department, speak at Palo Alto High School last Friday.  It was very short but he said some interesting things.  He talked to the young audience about finding an alternative energy source to Oil as future scientists.  He also stated that he only does projects he feels passionate about because if he doesn’t feel passionate for some reason, then it isn’t the right project.  We then saw his Curse of the Black Gold: Fifty Years of Oil in the Niger Delta piece.
